Gas & Heating

Specification and installation of complete boat gas systems, is undertaken. Gas bottle, gas regulator and pipework needs to be of the correct size for the appliance(s); the location of the appliance also needs to be considered.

Alterations and problem solving to existing systems is also undertaken.

Gas systems need to be checked as safe. Feel free to make contact to ensure individual requirements are fully discussed and compliant.

Boat Appliance Servicing and Certification.

Checking for correct operation and servicing of appliances, is undertaken. Although often neglected, this practice should take place annually.

An annual Landlord Gas Safety Certificate is required by law for all hired or rented vessels, including short term or day hire. If you live on a boat you do not own, it is your Landlord’s responsibility to ensure this is undertaken.

Complete installation, servicing and alterations of central heating systems whether heated by solid fuel or diesel stove with back boiler, diesel or gas boiler, are covered by Ovation Boat Services.

To help with efficiency, central heating systems should be periodically flushed and filled with coolant. This can be included as part of a service.

Alterations, repairs or the installation of your domestic water system, are all undertaken by Ovation Boat Services.
